a new place a new livingroom table top is made with three quater inch slightly roasted maple unfortunatly didnt have enough to do the legs with the same wood,legs are made of birch hope you enjoy.

That is some beautiful material and a wonderful final project. What finish did you use? I’m always curious about what people do when working with figured wood like this.

hokiemojo the finish use is merlin precatalyzed clear lacquer 75 percent gloss 4 coats from a couple of spray cans

I’ve always been a big fan of curly maple and this is an excellent project to display such a beautiful piece of wood. Good job.
