Very nice. A 24” bowl is a major turning undertaking. You must have a lathe that you can slow down quite a bit more than I can slow my lathe down (500 rpm). I can see that this would be big challenge. I can also see that you did it very well. Congratulations.

Nice job on the bowls they realy look good. I just ordered me a small lathe and pen making kits. I am realy excited about turning. I have only turned one pen in a two hour class. I want to learn all aspect in wood working.

Nice turning…..I’ve seen some of the bowl in a bowl turnings and thought what a great idea….saves some of the sawdust….and you dont have to core the middle either. 24”.....did you outboard that? I would think that blank was a bit unwieldly and the chucking a bit of a challenge?

Fantastic turning. 24” WOW! What a bowl! This looks like it would make a great chip and dip bowl. Great design and turn.

Keep it up.

A very original design and nicely executed. The wood and the finish is equally good. To turn a 24” bowl was a real challenge and you have done it so well. Very good pictures as well.
