When my wife retired from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, one of the items she received was a ceramic tile with the design motif of the center on its face, with a brass plaque of appreciation adhered to the back. The “Wood Magazine” keepsake box design provided an ideal way to display the gift – and a nice memorial to the wonderful woman she was. The design is basically that provided in the magazine, except that I modified the inside lid to display the plaque. The entire box is of Honduras Mahogany with an oil finish.

Very nice box. The colors of the tile go well with the choice of wood.

This is bound to be as special to her as the tile and plaque she received. Very nice work.

Fantastic box. Love the way the wood enhances the colors in the tile.(or is it, the tile enhances the wood?) Fantastic job on a wonderfull keep sake.

Keep it up.
