This is a prototype made of birch. The wife and I kicked around the design the other day then a friend and I made it for another friend’s birthday.
Might be worth finalizing for some production

This looks great. Now you need to turn some wine glasses with wood that matches. As an FYI – I have turned several wine glasses. I only turn the base and stem and then insert and glue in a glass top. They are pretty easy to do.

great design. I can already see one of these in our corner cupboard… (if I can work out a mod to work in a triangular space.)

very simple but useful design. Better get a patent out before someone from ikea steals it…
