I finished my bird feeder that I have ALWAYS wanted to make! (YEES!) And decided to also make this neat stand to go with it. As you can see by turning the hanger I can fill the feeder without having to get a ladder etc. I had seen this in the Family Handyman magazine and decided I had to make one. Makes a perfect match!

You take 2 hinges and attach to the deck and the side of the hanger. Then when you need to fill the feeder, you just turn it toward the deck. I have my hinges on the left side but you can add to either side. Then add a little hook to keep it in position.

Then I added this to my project list to do this a cute barn chickadee birdhouse seen online this time. Great to be able to get my yard “have to make” list which keeps getting things added now and then! Thanks for looking!

Very smart. Do you grease the pole to keep away the squirrels?

Nice project Krum, great idea for refilling without having to use ladders etc. Nice to see you provide for the large birds. BSG. The barn feeder looks great.
