Retirement Gift

A friend asked me to make his retirement gift. I wanted to keep the cost down, so I went with veneer. Everything except the planes were veneer and whoo it was lengthy. I did not have a vacuum sealer so I had to glue and clamp every piece individually. Finished with aerosol lacquer.

Fantastic build…really love the small planes. Your other projects are also great.

Would love to see how you crave the planes.

Unique gift. Very well done. Even though its Air Force, I’d be proud to give that as a gift, and equally proud to accept it.
