Nice table – Bamboo is a great product. I’ve worked with it quite a bit. It is extremely durable. I think more woodworkers would like bamboo if they gave it a try.

Great looking table. Your aunt will cherish it. I like bamboo but it is difficult to find around my area. All I seem to locate is flooring. I built the balusters for my stairs out of bamboo a while back but I had to order the bamboo from california and the shipping costs made it too expensive for future considerations.

I got alot of comments on this table, I had a lot of fun making it and I learned alot about bamboo in the process. Just so you all know this was excess flooring that was thrown out. I just cut the tongues and groves off and glued it up. I think with the remainder I might put in a new kitchen counter, with a bright red tile back splash.
