This is another raditor cover from our house. Once again it started as a fireplace surround my wife found at an antique’s fair. I built the sides, the top and the front ccover. I stained and finished it to match the existing front.

That is a super idea. Your surrond turned out very nice. Do you keep it in place during the heating season? If you do is there a concern about movement or overdrying?

Terry, I did have some concerns about what the heat might do to it. We left it up all year and it seemed to take the heat during the winter ok.
