This is a simple box that I started almost a year ago. I had originally planned to do some inlay on the top, but it did not turn out as well as I had hoped so it just got put on a shelf and avoided for a while. Eventually I decided that I needed to finish it so I scrapped the original top and started over. At that point I just wanted to finish it so I just veneered another top. This was my first project veneering, and I will probably use this some more on small panels that can simply be clamped and cauled.

Very nice box and I also like those corners. Gives me an idea I may use someday.

Cool box and nice finish to a project. I like the burl top but why did you choose to cover up the walnut?

Best,
