This coffee table is made from a burl cottonwood slab with a twisted juniper base and turquoise inlay. Finished with several coats of seal a cell…

I really like how it all came together and love the coloring.

True it sure came together and looks beautiful. never seen a cottonwood burl, where I live they are huge tree with very thick bark. people carve those bearded men pictures in them

Simply great. I spent many years in the land of twisted juniper and wished I could have harvested a truck load of it. That’s a fine job on the slab. I plan to do that with maple “cookies” and use a sled to run my router across it to get it level.

Also like the way you eased the edges.

I really like the combined effect of the perfectly straight and then the twisted like crazy base!

Great piece of work.
