Small maple/purpleheart box

This box is made of purpleheart and curly maple. The maple was a piece that I got for 6 and it was 5” x 1.25” x 10’ long rough sawn. Imagine my surprise to find that it was figured. This was completed in one day about 5 hours. enjoy.

Nice box. I like the sliding lid design. The heart inlays are nice also.

The lid is a nice touch. I like it.

the marple realy bring the colour in the purplehart over the edge
