Cutting Board of White Oak

A friend at work asked me to make his wife a cutting board. He said they cannot find a simple flat cutting board to buy. They wanted it to be double sided one for meat one for vegetables. Had some extra White Oak so I used it, man that wood is hard. Yes a simple project, but got me back out in the wood shop making chips. That is a good day any day.

Looks like a well though out design (staggered glue joints).

Given how tough WO is, you did a fantastic job on finishing off that end grain, nary a hint of any burning!
