This piece was a collaborative project between me and two other artists (my sister and brother-in-law) in Columbus, OH threw the Columbus Idea Foundry . Built for Linux/Unix creator Doug Mcllroy. I designed and built the clock casing. Materials are cherry, walnut, copper and brass. My sister and brother-in-law designed, cut, and etched the copper and brass plates. The clock has no hands, but rather, the faces revolved to tell the time.

Fantastic workmanship. I’m sure the recipient will grow to cherish it. Are there any in-progress pictures you could share? I’d love to see how the innards work and how it all came together. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Alex;

I don’t know how I missed your projects before. Very nice, indeed.
