Router Table Extension

Just completed my version of a router table extension for my table saw. Had a piece of dark colored Ikea melamine that I surrounded in just a pine border. Works pretty well. Still have to wire up the paddle switch and maybe add a channel for various jigs. Mounted the Bosch 1617 router so the above table depth adjustment is pretty cool.

Looks good what thickness “ikea” material did you end up using?

Thank you. It’s just a 5/8” thick piece. Probably should have gone with something thicker, but it’s what I had laying around. I’m obviously going to have to install a support strip beneath it for a miter track. It’s holding up pretty well so far.
