Project Information

I just finished up a set of three back saws and go them in the mail. I am done with saws for a few weeks so I can get caught up on woodworking.

This set has dovetail, carcass and tenon/sash saws with brass backs and English Walnut with some sapwood and color to them. I really love how the lambs tongues turned out on the two larger saws.
I like making them, But I am ready for a break ;) phew!

They are really distinctive Brian, should make the customer quite happy.

Where did you learn to throw saws to get them to stick in wood like that? ;-)

Beautiful saws! Do you make the plates/backs as well? The medallion looks awesome!

Awesome job, per usual, Brian!

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to put the medallions and flat part of the bolts on the non-traditional side?

Todd, that was done out of request by the client.
Bojangles043 I make the plates, the backs I get from blackburn or TGIAG.
Thanks all for the great comments.
