I saw some of these at a Main St. festival last year and finally got around to making one. I took an old plastic drink cooler and made a shell to surround it out of poplar. I finished it with cedar fence pickets. The lid is similar, attached the plastic lid to a poplar frame then finished with more cedar fence pickets. I also added a rope handle and wheels to move it around. I stained it with a stain/sealer I’ve used on our fences. I considered adding both a drain plug and using long legs to raise it instead of wheels but decided to keep it simple. Maybe next time!

Pretty nice. These things are definitely getting popular lately. Nice touch of class to coolers. :)
