I recently ran across a limited supply of Sapele “Pommele”, a tropical African hardwood

A remarkable wood that is similar to working mahogany, and finishes like a dream, although getting the photos to show its true beauty is difficult. “Pommele” is a term used to describe the figure of this Sapele.

Great wood. You should post your stacked Dusty Newt keychain that you posted on Facebook. That is really something!

-- "Bordnerizing" perfectly good lumber for over a decade.

Those are awesome brother !
I recently made a gun rack from Sapele and agree with you on how it works and how it finishes.
You have been making these key fobs and such for a long time and are the master at it.

Dusty, these are very nice. These would make nice gifts or would be great for selling.

Nice letters. It’s on my ’’to do’’ list for a long time. I even downloaded all letter’s templates.

It takes practice. I have developed my own free-hand letter style over the the last 35 years.
