Here’s a simple easy to make birch ply saddle to hold a standard 4” diameter dust collection hose. I replaced the two M6 screws on the dust collector flang with longer ones. I got tired of tripping over it, stepping on it and bending over to pick it off the floor. I move the hose from machine to machine as needed. The handy rubber cuff (http://tinyurl.com/yausppf) on the end of the hose simplifies hooking the hose up to 4” fittings. You get an airtight connection.
