Built this for my oldest daughter about 3 months ago. it is built out of 8/4, 4/4 african mahogany and mahogany ply. I really didnt want to stain it but she wanted it darker so i used red mahogany stain and around 5 coats of wipe on poly. Tapered legs were kinda inspired by Darrell Peart’s greene and greene dresser and David Marks’ egyptian dresser.
Pic doesnt really do it justice because i took it while the finish was still wet and before i put the finial on. She thinks i should take more pics of my work and i think shes right lol.
