“What am I going to get Bernie for Christmas?”
My dad asks me the same question every year! You see, he likes to get his business partner and friend, Bernie, something special every year for Christmas. It always has to be something unique.
This year, I caught up with my Dad early and suggested a wine rack. Bernie likes wine, and David Marks(my personal hero) built a wine rack on “Woodworks” that I’ve been dying to try my hand at. He agreed and I got to work. True to David’s original, I built from quartersawn white oak…my first time working it! Here’s where I throw a big “thank you” to the lumberjocks guys and gals for helping me with a problem called tannin staining. Apparently under the right conditions, white oak stains black! Wasn’t too hard to get out though…
Anyway here it is! Delivered on December 23rd!!! Maybe I’ll start next years gift a bit earlier!

This is very well done – a very attractive piece.
I might also note that you have excellent taste in wine. At one time we lived on the east side of Santa Rosa about 15 miles from this winery.
