Toy truck combo made for the 2 year old neighbor twins. There are two tractors. They will share the other components. One can be moving gravel in the dump box while the other is making the long hauls. When they need a brake they can load the camper and take a vacation. These activities provide for sharing and eye-hand coordination. Also, this will reduce hair loss of the mother. (keeping them busy lessens the mothers desire to be pulling out her hair due to stress.)

Making toys is a joy in itself!

You did a nice design and a nice build too.

I only make “Playable” toys. My avatar is actually a large toy box Yes, the winch works.

I like the simple idea that can be anyway they want them!

I saw on your ship project you say, ” finish is acrylic paint”. I assume these are the same, but can you tell me more about the paint, I don’t like the look of “child safe” milk paint or the food coloring method. Yours looks great and just what I’m looking for.
Thank you.

This is a nice lot of toys and the kids will love them.

That’s very clever Jim having the interchangeable bodies on the trucks but I’m thinking that even with twins you may need to make another set to keep the peace. That said, there will be hours of fun, play and adventure in those beautiful hand made wooden toys…well done sir.
