This will be replacing an old water meter enclosure unit in a basement which was renovated many years ago. Unfortunately the current enclosure is in the living room and does not look to great..its basically a frame box made of 2×4 and dry wall. I have included a picture of the existing enclosure.
This new shelf enclosure has two parts which can come apart if needed to get to the water meter for any service issues.
The back end will be fixed to the wall and front part will be removable by pulling apart from the back assembly. The entire project was done using Festool 500 joinery.
I still need to apply the poly, but almost done….should be ready for next week…I will post a completed picture for by next week.
The last picture is after final coat of General Finishes Armor Seal, I used 3 coats in total.
Is there anything else to bring out the shine or deepen the color after you apply the final Poly?.
