Fantastic design. I like the raised/footed design. Nice selection of woods. You might try checking out a tile company. They have a lot of design tiles for use in the kitchen and bath that would look very good in a trivet like these. Just my opinion.

Very nice trivets – It is on my list to make some.
Question – assuming you purchased 12” tiles, How did you cut your tiles? I have some 12×12 granite tiles that I will be trying a dry diamond blade on…
