I was making this table when I had my terrible accident in June. It had all the parts complete, and the top was all glued up, but it all needed to be put back together.

I had a heck of a time finishing this table because every time I looked at it I was reminded of what happened to me. Finally, I finished it on Saturday.

It has mahogany cockbeading around the drawer and around the entire bottom of the table. You can’t really see it that great in the picture.

This is a match to the hall table I made earlier. There is no stain used, just Waterlox original. I used the Waterlox high gloss on the hall table.

That’s one of my bowls on the table as well.

Very nice table. Great work.
I hope you wiil be more careful using machines and wish bad things will never happen to you.

Thanks for the post. I have some cherry and am wanting to make a desk out of it. I’ll definitely use some of your design elements!

I just finished a project with Waterlox on Black Walnut , but I can’t capture its beauty with my digital camera : (
