First of a few. A couple of similar along this line are going to be donations to two organizations R&B support for their fundraising auctions. This one in Walnut and Tiger Maple was the test box. Been a while since I made templates and routed out a design. Really wish I had a CNC but since I’m poor, it’s MDF and guides. Lined it in crocodile skin fabric and it will come with the leather bound mini Big Book and a hand turned olivewood AA pen. Chips not included. Now that I know proof of concept is doable, time to cut some more wood. Thanks for looking.

These look very nice and will be wonderful eye catchers.

I’m building a box like that and was wondering what you use for hinges
Thanks

Thanks y’all. Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner David. The hinges are simple pins that run through the sides of the box into the lid.

Thanks Don
I do see that lee valley has some spring loaded pin hinges and I thought that maybe you used them or something similar
