I’ve made many wooden wristwatches. They make wonderful gifts and I have had many requests from friends for more than one.
But I wanted to give one to a special person, so thought this presentation box would be a nice compliment to the watch. The box is my favorite wood again, Huon Pine. The lid insert is Walnut Burl Veneer. You will note that I choose a veneer with a grain pattern that mirrored the curve of the watch band.

Another neat looking box. The splined joints add a lot to its character.

Very nice!
I can’t tell the scale from the pictures, are these small desk size clocks – close to the size of a watch or travel clock, or perhaps larger and could hang on the wall or displayed on a shelf or mantel?

Scott, perhaps this picture will help with the scale; or this one with a coin about the size of a US silver dollar.
