Doll cradle

Hi, I made a doll cradle this morning. It took 4 hours total including the design and the tung oil. I’m happy with how it turns out. Scandinavian looking I guess because of the birch ply. That ply is costly but it is a huge time saver on sanding. It’s a birthday gift for my 3 yo daughter Marion. I really hope she will like it.

I made the curves cut with a jigsaw and laminate flooring blades. That’s the best thing I know to avoid tearing.

Thanks for sharing your stuff and for all the positive comments. It’s a real booster.

Good looking cradle. I’m sure your daughter will love it.

Alex, that is a real nice cradle. When Marion gets older she will always cherish it as a work of her father’s hands.
