The picture was originally shot in my yard with flowers, trees as a background. Then I needed the image to submit to a show and I needed to get rid of the extraneous stuff, so my niece photoshopped the shot. I think it lost a lot of the grain detail at this point, which is unfortunate.

To shoot our new product line of jewelry boxes which you can see on my website www.dreammountainstudio.com we purchased a gradiated background from a photo supply shop. We shoot with ambient light, high F stop with a long exposure in our bedroom. I think they look pretty good and my husband gets all the kudos for that.
