My Uncle Ken and I built these building blocks for my two nieces for Christmas 2009. They loved them. We sanded each one and rounded off all sharp edges. All are made from hardwood.

This nice project is too late for me. If I could have done this back in the 70’s I could have saved a lot of money on Lego! I’m sure the kids love them. The animals are real cute too.

Nice collection of colors and shapes for the building blocks. Love the barn. With all the funky gizmos and strange electronic toys out there, I always had better luck with toys in which my kids could just pick them up and do things with them.

I am a firm believer in legos Mike, I don’t think your investment was a bad one :)
