Cigar ashtrays

Another batch of cigar ashtrays. Two in walnut , one in Purple Heart, one of maple and walnut. All have mitred and splines corners and a ceramic base set in a dado. 7&1/2” square by 2” deep.

Great looking set of cigar trays—I really like that walnut one with the maple splines!

Could a ceramic tile be used for the base? If I ever build one of these, the tile should be easy to get.

Nice work, currently working on a cigar ashtray using a harmonic balancer from a Chevy with a wooden base.
