Species is hickory with a nutural finish. For some poor lady (my wife) who doesn’t have a big enough kitchen for a real island.

I love the beautiful cabinet but the top doesn’t do anything for it. JMHO : ) I am adding it to my favorites for future reference for some Hickory that I’ve been saving : )

Wow, Awesome job, outstanding. I can not let my wife see your island or she will have me trying to make one next week. Great job.

Looks like a great place to roll out some bisquits.

That is a beautiful island.

Love the look of hickory. I do not know why it is not used more.

I also like the look of walnut that you do so well.

Great Job and very nice use of the contrasting colors that run through out. Looks like a nice fit of the inset doors.

Something like this could work in my kitchen.

Very Nice,

How did you attach the drawer front to the garbage can drawers? I have the same one.. but can’t figure out how to attach it. Got any pics?

-- But honey.. this new power tool will pay for itself when we re-do the kitchen!
