Wife wanted me to make a new train/Lego Table with built in storage. Built this out of pine with an MDF table top. The Lego storage is plastic drawers from walmart and the train storage are cloth bins.

Storage and play surface in one – brilliant! Also uses inexpensive elements that won’t cost too much to replace when the kids break them – another great feature. Thanks for sharing

This is a great project, very practical, and the kids will love it. Is this for the grown up kids, the middle kids, or the little kids, or all three?

We have a four year old who is very into legos and not ready to give up on the trains yet. I have put in a few hours building legos already at the table :D
