We’ve got an odd bathroom and we couldn’t find cabinets to fit so I made a few. They’re custom specifically to the space we have which is the reason to make cabinets. I dovetailed the drawers and put full extension sliders on as well as oil rubbed bronze handles and pulls.

It’s a shame that I was forced to paint the maple, but…. Happy wife…. Happy life. She wanted them white. I was afraid that the moisture in the bathroom would mess up the top so I put on 3 coats of paint and let it cure for 2 weeks in a dry environment. Once it was good and hard I experimented and tried 4 coats of automotive clear-coat. Boy does the top of the cabinet shine, oh and it repels water too ;)
