THE PLANS CALLED FOR STAINED GLASS IN THE BASE BUT I USED MICA SINCE IT LOOKS GOOD, IS EASIER TO WORK WITH AND MUCH CHEAPER. I ALSO ALTERED THE LIGHTING IN THE BASE SINCE THE SYSTEM CALLED FOR IN THE PLAN ONLY ILLUMINATED A SMALL PORTION OF THE BASE BY USING A LOW WATTAGE BULB INA CANDELABRA SOCKET. I CHANGE IT TO A 6” TUBRULAR 60 WATT BULB AND IT LOOKS A LOT BETTER

Love your room; mission is a favorite of mine, too. Your coffee table is on my to do list, actually! Where did the plans for the lamp come from????

What a completely beautiful and welcoming living room. This is absolutely stunning.
Very nice job.

I agree- it’s a nice lamp but I had a hard time noticing it in that awesome room (and the fact that it goes along with it is a compliment in and of itself). Did you make any or all of the other parts in the room?

Good work!
I tryed to make this lamp, got floored by the lattice and gave up.
Well done.
