After building six adirondack chairs from treated lumber for family members I finally completed my own two chairs from white oak. Cost: one case of beer for my neighbors lumber and some hardware. I’m considering simply not finishing them. Except for packing the end grain of the legs with epoxy to keep from wicking up moisture.

Great looking pair of adirdondacks! They look very comfortable, and made out of white oak, they should last for decades!
