For a 10 year old boy, Chemo-Therapy patient. His mother had seen the box I made my wife for her birthday: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/255642 and wanted to give her son a ‘congratulation gift’ for his final treatment tomorrow. I didn’t have any of the figured Walnut left. So I reversed the woods with a curly maple lid.

Good looking piece of work and for one heck of a great reason! Prayers that all continues on well for the young man.

It’s a wonderful box and giving it to the boy was a gracious thing to do. I’m sure that he will cherish it always.
