I made this bowl 4 years ago. I designed the diamond center ring and then built a bowl around it; the center ring alone has 120 pieces. The bowl is 7” tall, the diameter is 8 1/2” and the opening is 4 1/2”. the woods are purpleheart. bloodwood and ash. The finish is polished water varnish.

Fantastic!
I’ve always been impressed with segmented work. I can only imagine the time invested in creating something this nice.
Good Work!

Great job, looks fantastic. How long did it take to cut all the peices and glue them up?

Fantastic bowl. I can see why you started in the center and worked both ways. Beautifull pattern, great shape and finish.

Keep up the wonderfull work.
