These are my kitchen cabinets. I really like dark/light contrast in wood working and decided to theme my kitchen cabinets aroung that. I built them about 12 years ago and have been very happy about how the glue ups have held. I had two doors that twisted a little bit but I was able to recut them, glue them up again and took the warp out. The drawer fronts have really held up nicely. I was on a budget and used white melamine for the boxes. My next big project is to build dovetailed maple drawers to replace the melamine. I plan on doing that project within the next month.

Those look great Karl. I love that curly maple, and the contrast with the darker wood is nice too.

Beutiful work and design! I’m really surprised those doors haven’t warped or split with the rails glued on like that.
