OK, I promise soon I will post one of a real project, but I like making birdhouses, especially unique ones, this one has a story behind it, My oldest son is graduating this yr,a nd the bus driver that has picked him up since preK, has been the same driver,, he wanted to have a chance of driving my son thru his whole career, then he was going to retire,,,
and he did, so I built this birdhouse for a thank you,,, I just had a picture of a small push toy to go on for dimensions and such,, Then woodburned the dinosaur and lettering and number,, he was happy with it, and we were thankful for his yrs of safe driving,,,
good luck, pat| Pin It |

Very cute, am going to make one like it for my sister who drives bus. Love the idea, I think I am going to add a couple of long windows on either side, always cools for the kids to peak in. Thanks for the project!

I ALWAYS go back to birdhouses too! This is a great design that will obviously be very special to the recipient. Very thoughtful and creative.
