Hemlock Stump Foot-Stool

This was made with a small hemlock stump that I got a few days ago. As soon as I saw it I knew what it would be and that it would go perfect with the hemlock bench I made 3 years ago, which I included a picture of. The middle seam cover-strip is tiger maple. It ain’t fine furniture but it will compliment the bench just fine. The joinery is solid and it sets level and firm. It measures 24” X 10” X 8” tall. Finished with Danish oil. Thanks for the looks and comments. Oh…..the pic of that jumble of drift wood is where this came from…...I just forgot to take a separate photo of the stump itself.

Nice and organic looking project.
I would love to have that in our garden and it would look great amongst the bushes with some flower pots on it .
