i grabbed these construction grade 4×4;s and 2×6’s out of the scrap pile and the concrete plant where i work, scrapped them clean of concrete and planed and worked them over untill they were useable and built this work bench out of it which is complent and set up at my work,, ill post the finish pics when i get home dont have them on work puter, thanks for looking. just added a few more pics,,, I made the drawer rack for something else and abandoned the idea, so the rack sat off to the side untill i started assembleing the bench, so decided to ad it to it, only problem was the width between legs was too tight, but with notching the 4×4 turned out,, inside of rack to the other end were just perfect, was an afterthought, wish i hada bettere pic of top, that black spot is a peice of walnute bolted with a knob to leg , for planeing or belt sanding i raise it up, when not needed lower flush with bench top, also another first for me was making the drawer pulls from scrap,,,, thank all of you for your comments and looking

Really nice bench. Solid and clean lines. I like the fact that the top is made from 2x stock.

Well done! I don’t think you will get any racking on that bench with the drawer case.

Love the “recycling” aspect of your build.
The bench is awesome.
Nice touch on the 4×4 edges.
