“High mountains” hand carved wooden box.

Box material: linden (basswood).

Box sizes:
Outer sizes:
length: 34,5 cm, width: 14,5 cm (5,51”), height: 9,5 cm (2,99”).
Inner sizes:
section 1: length: 14,5 cm, width: 10,1 cm, depth: 5 cm.
section 2: length: 14,1 cm, width: 10,1 cm, depth: 5 cm.

Finish: Danish oil, box is lined with the cotton cloths.

Technique: chip carving.

I can’t say exactly how many hours it took me to complete this box, because I have started carving it even in 2015, then I left carving it because of my work, and only now I finally found time to completely finish it.

Tatiana, as usual this piece is so beautifully done and skillfully carved. I don’t see how anyone carves as accurately as you do. You are certainly one of the most skilled chip carvers in the whole wide world, if not the most skilled.
