Friend gave me 2 cedar boards in exchange for making him a salt box for his cattle. He told me, ‘it ain’t much but you always seem to see things in wood that others don’t.’ I immediately saw this in the grain. Took me about 2 hours to complete it. It measures 20” X 3 1/2” X 3/8” and is finished with Howard’s wax.
I have a good friend whose name is Bunny and I thought this would be a nice piece of art for her. LOL. It looks like a bunny to me….what do y’all think? Be nice!
All looks and comments are appreciated.

Once you said bunny, I could see it. I was looking at the cyclops eye at the top. Great job.

That’s just plain neat. It’s “nicely” weird. I like weird.

I must be loosing it cause I don’t see it. Maybe since I read Monte’s reply first. I see a cyclops guy.
It will make some cool yard art for her.

Eye C it 2
Pregnant ! good thing there is only one of them

and thanks to our colonial english friends, who introduced this menace,

The wild rabbit is now considered to be a pest in Australia and in states such as Queensland, keeping a rabbit as a domestic pet is illegal (although rabbits may be kept as pets in New South Wales and Victoria).

Maybe rabbits respect borders eh!

Otherwise exceptionally nice work!

Soon as I saw the 1st picture I said “It’s a bunny, who cant see that?” LOL

I have a slab from a pine tree laying in my shop waiting for it to dry enough to cut it. It’s about 12” or 14” wide, 2.5” thick and almost 10’ long. I see something in it also and hope to post it here in the next few months.
