I will use this scoop to measure coffee beans that are heading to the grinder. The scoop is zebrawood and the handle is myrtle. The two pieces are connected with 20 gauge wire and some epoxy. I finished the piece with walnut oil and oil wax. This is the first one that I have tried, now I have a request for a set of kitchen measuring cups. Well, back to the lathe.

Nice job on this scoop. I really like the unique attachment by wire; it adds another visual element. I can see why you have had the requests for the measuring cups!
