Project Information

When I'm on vacation I mostly do some chip carving (old style). Before I leave home the wood is shaped and cutting can start. The only tools I need in my vacation are a smal sharpning stone and strope, eyeglasses and a knive. The mirror glass is mounted after I came home. Every year I try to do it a little better, but I know I'm making mistakes. However I'm satisfied with the result.

Thanks for watching.

Beautiful job. The scope of your talent never ceases to amaze me.

One question though. How do you get the Dutchman out of the glass. I'm sure you saw him there now and then while carving…

But then you'll be trapped inside forever. Please be serious… I think you are fibbing!

Did you use your disc sander to remove the red marks?
Sorry Dutchy, you'll now have to remove the green ones…
