Project Information

Adirondack chair that took me forever to make, mainly because i cut my finger well enough to require 19 stitches (didn't lose it tho, that is a plus) made of cedar and coated with Spar Urethane. i think it turned out really well. I had intended on making 2 at the same time, however ran out of cedar and just haven't gotten any more yet, until then the wife has told me its her chair and she wont share. Got the plans from fine wood working magazine, tables and chairs edition.

Great looking Adirondack! I can see why the wife hijacked it! The cedar looks great-and those are definitely some big arms…...!

Hope your finger is healing. The chair is great. Really like the cedar. And the view from the patio looks just peaceful and relaxing. Hopefully you can build a second chair to join your wife!
