Project Information

Teepee was a fun puzzle box to make using a found cigar box that has an extreme slope to the top. I also liked that the cigar box has its ornamental labels on all sides. The box itself was made from 5/16" thick mahogany and nice to work with.

Seen on front are something I call 'lollipop" knobs and are simple glue ups of left over bits of exotic wood scraps that are easily rounded in a disc sander jig and polished up nice in the drill press.

All in all a fun week in the shop!
