This pair is an homage to my hippie past…they may be old and tarnished, but they are still groovy. Melalueca, turned, textured, microwaved, ferrous oxide and verdigris patinas. 5”h x 2.25”w.

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for taking the time to look at these and your comment. These represent one of my signature styles of woodturning. I enjoy creating pieces that take the viewers straight away from what the material actually is, and leads them to believe it is something else.

Joe, I really do like where you’re going with your textured HF’s, hoping for that how-to blog any day now. Are you planning on going to Hartford? If so, look me up…should be easy…old hippie, covered with wood shavings…
