I had this small bit of maple wood from which I carved a small boot with a live edge. It sat on my to-do-shelf for over a year until I got the courage to add some scales with my burning tool and enhanced it with a touch of paint to give it more ‘bite’! The scale pattern turned out not too bad and with the addition of a hideous mouth and staring eyes the ASP came into existence. And the rest you all know is history!

Enjoy the frivolity or shall I say ‘wood whimsy’!
