I know it’s not fine woodworking, but, I wanted to share these. I made these to thank a friend of my daughters for helping her and her family out so much, when their home caught fire. No humans were hurt or injured, but, my daughters dog perished in the fire. They’re getting ready to get back in the house, hopefully by the end of this month, July. I just got back from a quick trip to Kansas to deliver them, and to personally thank my daughters friend, Renea, and her Mom. Anyhoo, these boards have a 3m “Scotchclad”, laminated vinyl decal on them as you can see how super nice they are. I finally figured out a good technique for applying them on the boards as you can see in the pics above. Thnx for checkin in. Good/bad/ugly comments, critiques will be heard.. lol I know I’m not a Jayhawk fan, but, they are… hahaha

Here is also a pic with the blue led lights that light up the hole for playing after dark.

I learned the term “cornhole” from your projects, Roger…....I always thought it meant something else….LOL. I’m not in to “Cornholing” but always admire your work.

Gee, I thought you hand-painted those. Great job.

Having just completed hand painting team logos on two cornhole boards, I can say without hesitation that these decals are the way to go. They provide wonderful graphics over the entire board and are far quicker to complete. Nicely done Roger and more importantly, a wonderful gesture of appreciation.

Not fine woodworking? As long as you made the boards it is woodworking.

I have a problem with some CNC “woodworking” though.

But the vinyl decals make the project look spectacular!!!

Forgot to ask, how tough is it to get the decals on just right? Are they super sticky?

Roger, what a nice way to say thanks. These look great. The light is a neat idea too. Job well done. It is a long way to drive, so I hope you made some interesting stops along the way.
